Quick Update

Bonjour from Paris!! 

This won’t be a super long post to conserve data and phone battery, but I wanted to update friends and family on my 10 day trip. So far we have covered Prague, Berlin, and Amsterdam.

Prague was unlike any other city I’ve ever seen. It had the colorful building of Rome and the architecture style of Paris. The people were friendly and the food was amazing. My favorite moments were enjoying a Pilsner beer at the top of the castle over looking the city along with when I got to do the grease lightning dance on stage at an 80/90s themed club. Next was Berlin where we had one full day to cover old and new Berlin. We did two walking tours that took us through the historic sites such as the Berlin gate and check point Charlie, and the other tour took us through the modern day alternative street art side of Berlin. We walked 12 miles and I can honestly say I feel like I saw it all. Berlin is a cool city to learn about, and it is still rebuilding and developing. Amsterdam has probably been my favorite so far. This city has trendy, good vibes. We saw the Anne Frank museum, the heinken factory and biked around the city. There’s something magical about biking along the canals as the sunsets on the colorful buildings along side you. I enjoyed every second of Amsterdam and I can’t wait for the opportunity to go back.
